Montlior Wire and the Coravian Press Institute Extend Accreditation Partnership to 2031

Montlior Wire and the Coravian Press Institute have extended their accreditation partnership through 2031. The agreement, first signed in 2019, keeps Institute credential checks inside the wire accreditation workflow so that card-holders are verified the same day they apply.

The renewal adds a shared register for freelance correspondents, who previously had to supply published work for manual review. Freelances holding a current Institute card will now be accredited on the same terms as staff journalists.

Neither party makes a payment under the agreement. Accreditation remains free, and the wire continues to publish every release openly regardless of accreditation status.
