Media kit

Everything a newsroom needs to publish a Montlior story correctly: the logo in every format we support, photography cleared for editorial use, the current fact sheet, and the short list of rules that keep our mark recognisable.

The nameplate

Locked lockup · do not rebuild

The Montlior Wire nameplate at full size, navy serif capitals with twin hairline rules.

Montlior Wire, horizontal lockup

The primary mark. Serif capitals in steel #1E4E79, twin hairline rules, and the boxed WIRE sub-block in action blue #1D6FE0. The proportions are fixed. Supply it on white or on a tint no darker than #E8F1FC.

Using the mark

Six rules, no exceptions

Do

Keep the lockup intact

Use the supplied file at any size above the minimum. The rules, the box and the letter spacing are part of the mark, not decoration around it.

Don't

Rebuild it in another typeface

The nameplate is drawn, not set. Retyping the name in a similar serif produces a mark we cannot authorise for publication.

Do

Place it on white or pale tint

White is preferred. Where a background is unavoidable, use a pale tint and keep contrast above 4.5:1.

Don't

Recolour, rotate or add effects

No gradients, shadows, outlines, or single-colour substitutions other than the supplied one-colour version. Never set the mark at an angle.

Do

Credit the source in text

Write “Montlior Wire” or “distributed by Montlior Wire” in the body, credit line or on-screen caption. Attribution in words, not only in logo form.

Don't

Imply endorsement

The mark identifies the source of a release. It must not sit beside your own branding in a way that suggests partnership, sponsorship or approval.
